Uniform
Our school uniform consists of the following required items:
- Green sweatshirt or cardigan showing the Springmead logo
- White polo shirt (generic)
- Grey trousers, shorts, pinafore or skirt (generic)
- Grey or black plain ankle socks to be worn with trousers/shorts (generic)
- Grey socks or tights to be worn with skirts (generic)
- Black shoes - none branded trainers are find with no logos but no boot styles please (generic)
- Hair band/clips should be either green, white or black. No bows or scrunchies please
The following items are optional:
- Green and white checked summer dresses - white socks can we worn with summer dress
- Outdoor Springmead Fleece for winter
- Grey or green tights
- A Springmead rucksack (preferred)
PE Kit (required)
- Plain coloured t-shirt in your child’s house colours
Seacole – Gold, Howard – Emerald Green, Nightingale – Royal Blue, Rosen – Red
- Black shorts (no logos)
- Trainers
- Dark blue or black jogging bottoms (no logos or stripes)
- Drawstring PE bag (no other style bags to be used)
Jewellery, including earrings, rings and necklaces, should not be worn to school as they can cause nasty injuries in PE lessons and in the playground. If your child has pierced ears, children may only wear studs which must be removed or taped for PE. Make-up, nail varnish, fake nails and hair dye should not be worn.

PTA Pre-loved Uniform
Our PTA also offer a pre-loved uniform shop, the shop, run by our PTA volunteers, provides a means for parents to buy good condition pre-loved Springmead School uniform which has either been outgrown or unclaimed from lost property. It also supports the school’s Eco Buddies in their work in becoming a cleaner, greener school
