This week we have been learning about eSafety. We watched a film called Lee and Kim’s Magical Animal Adventure. The story is about two children who go on a journey in cyberspace. They take part in a game and they meet lots of different animals. One animal, the bear tries to trick them into giving out personal information. Luckily Sid, their guardian angel is there to tell them not to give out personal information.
We have written a blog post and our own stories in Literacy and designed a poster in Computing. Here are some examples of our work.
Hi Sid. I am called Jack and I am in Larch class. I have watched your video about safety and when Lee and Kim were tricked by the bear. I think Lee was right not to tell where he went to school or where he lived. I have learnt that you should not give away your personal information. I must never tell someone my personal information and keep it a secret. I acted out your story and I was Lee. When we were acting it out we sang your song to remind us of the rules.

Suddenly Natalie and Eden found themselves in cyberspace. They looked around and realised they were in Egypt. The pyramids were yellow. Orange and very bright. They met a Mummy. The Mummy said are you looking for the sphinx nose. They said yes. They followed the Mummy and the Mummy started asking questions like were do you live? They said England. Then he said how old are you? Eden said seven. Natalie had butterflies in her tummy and the Mummy said what school do you go to? Then a donkey appeared and said you were about to give someone your personal information. They became super heroes and sang a song about safety. Then they learnt what to do about safety and did not give information to people they do not trust.
