Reading at Home

Reading is essential in children being able to access all areas of learning.  As well as the reading activities that we provide for our pupils, here are some additional ideas to help you support your child build that love of reading.

In Key Stage 2, the majority of children use Accelerated Reader for Star reader assessments which provide their reading levels. Once they have read a book, they complete a quiz on this book to check their understanding.
