School Sports Partnership

Springmead Primary school is proud to be a part of the Welwyn Hatfield School Sports Partnership where we are part of Ridgeway Academy’s cluster of primary schools and are linked with Commonswood, Waterside, Watchlytes, Panshanger and Swallow Dell.

As well as running several festivals and competitions throughout the year, our SSCO Mr Carolan is also able to come into Springmead Primary school to teaching a small proportion of PE lessons. As a school, we are able to take part in many festivals and competitions at Ridgeway Academy which focus on mass participation and raising awareness for a vast variety of sports, in addition to School Games Competitions.
