Year 1 and 2
Homework
Homework books will be given out every Friday. Spellings need to be completed and brought back by the following Thursday. Maths homework will be set on Numbots each Friday and also needs to be completed by the following Thursday. Every half term there will be 6 optional homework activities, these will link to our learning in class.
Reading
It is important to read with your child for 15 minutes every day. Please write in the reading record and ensure your child’s books are in school every day.
Spellings
Friday- Thursday | Complete the spellings in your book using the Look, Cover, Write, Check method. These spellings are the Year 1 and 2 statutory words and will be tested each Friday. |
Maths
Friday- Thursday | Log onto Numbots. Complete at least 10 minutes. |
